Η Χριστίνα Αλεξανδρή είναι Υπολογιστικός Γλωσσολόγος και Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Γερμανικής Γλώσσας και Φιλολογίας του ΕΚΠΑ. Έχει την ευθύνη του Εργαστηρίου Δημοσιογραφικών Γλωσσικών Εφαρμογών Journalism Computational Linguistics Laboratory (JCL Lab) στο ΕΜΠ - Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο (Σύμπραξη ΕΜΠ, Ερευνητικό Κέντρο «Αθηνά», Ίδρυμα Προαγωγής Δημοσιογραφίας Αθαν. Βασ. Μπότση και Donau Universität Krems, Austria). Η Χριστίνα Αλεξανδρή ασχολείται με δίγλωσσες και πολύγλωσσες εφαρμογές Υπολογιστικής Γλωσσολογίας από το 1995 ως μεταπτυχιακή φοιτήτρια και υπότροφος του Ιδρύματος Fulbright στο Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών MSc in Computational Linguistics program, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh PA USA. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε εθνικά ερευνητικά έργα και σε ερευνητικά έργα της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (1996 – 2009) και είχε επιστημονική συνεργασία με το Ερευνητικό Πρόγραμμα UNL των Ηνωμένων Εθνών (UN) (United Nations Research Center, Tokyo, Japan) για την ενσωμάτωση της Ελληνικής γλώσσας (άνευ αποδοχών) στο Δίκτυο του Συστήματος UNL, με κύριες γλώσσες αναφοράς τα Αγγλικά και τα Γερμανικά (2010-2015). Είναι Μέλος της Αμερικανικής Εταιρείας Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης “Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence” από το 2015. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέρονται εστιάζονται σε γλωσσολογικά ζητήματα στην Αλληλεπίδραση και Επικοινωνία Ανθρώπου-Μηχανής, εφαρμογές Τεχνολογίας Φωνής, πολύγλωσσες εφαρμογές καθώς και ειδικές εφαρμογές στο πεδίο της Δημοσιογραφίας.

Christina K. Alexandris
Christina K. Alexandris ist Universitätsprofessor (Full Professor) für Computerlinguistik und Germanistische Linguistik an der Nationalen und Kapodistrias-Universität Athen, Griechenland. Sie ist Leiterin des Labors für Anwendungen der Computerlinguistik im Bereich Journalismus (JCL Lab) an der Nationalen Technischen Universität Athen (in Zusammenarbeit mit der Donau-Universität Krems,"Athena" - Forschungs- und Innovationszentrum, Athen und Botsis Stiftung zur Förderung des Journalismus, Athen). Christina Alexandris ist seit 1995 an zweisprachigen und mehrsprachigen Computerlinguistik-Anwendungen (als Studentin und Fulbright-Stipendiatin an der Carnegie Mellon University MSc in Computational Linguistics Programm in Pittsburgh PA USA) tätig. Sie hat an nationalen und EU-Forschungsprojekten (1996 - 2009) teilgenommen und mit dem UNL-Projekt der Vereinten Nationen, United Nations Research Centre, Tokyo, Japan (2010-2015) zusammengearbeitet. Sie ist seit 2015 Mitglied der American Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). Ihre Forschungsinteressen umfassen linguistische Aspekte in der Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion, Anwendungen im Bereich der Sprachtechnologie, mehrsprachige Anwendungen sowie spezielle Anwendungen für Journalisten.

Christina K. Alexandris
Christina K. Alexandris is Professor in Computational Linguistics and German Linguistics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She is Head of the Journalism Computational Linguistics Laboratory (JCL Lab) at the National Technical University of Athens (in collaboration with the Danube University Krems, Austria, “Athena”- Research and Innovation Center, Athens, Institution of Promotion of Journalism Ath.Vas. Botsi, Athens). Christina Alexandris has been involved in bilingual and multilingual Computational Linguistics applications since 1995 as a graduate student and Fulbright scholar in the MSc in Computational Linguistics program, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh PA USA. She has participated in national and EU research projects (1996 – 2009) and collaborated with the Universal Networking Language (UNL) Project of the United Nations, United Nations Research Center, Tokyo, Japan (2010-2015). She is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) since 2015. Her research interests involve linguistic aspects and linguistic issues in Human-Computer Interaction, Speech Technology Applications and Multilingual Applications as well as special applications for Journalism.
